Fall Sports Seasons Begins.....

Well here we go.... Fall is in the air.... Kids are back to school.... Now let the sports begin.... Taylor is cheering this season for the Warriors. This is the first time Tay has wanted to cheer and she seems to be having a great time! Luke has begun soccer. This is a "mini soccer" team that has a paid trainer that works with the kids doing fun skill games and drills. They race, play tag and pratice kicking and scoring goals! It was perfect for Luke! I will try to post some video too!!

Luke's Big Boy Bike

Luke got a "big boy bike" yesterday and needless to say he was so excited. We are super thankful to Julie, Jeff and Jaiden for the hand me down!!! Luke couldn't wait to get on that bike and go!!! Being the very competitive child he is, he was desperate to keep up with Taylor. Of course Taylor would have none of that, although she was very proud of her little brother!

Summer Fun In April!!!

The past several days have been super warm here and Taylor and Luke have summer fever!!! Despite constant begging to get out our little pool, I was not quite ready to make that jump yet....so we pulled out the trusty sprinkler! Taylor and Luke, and of course Busgy, had alot of fun while trying to keep cool in the spring heat wave!!

Easter Eggs

Last night we decorated Easter eggs! Taylor and Luke were so excited, they had been asking all week when it would be time to "do the eggs". We had one egg fall and crack and one bowl of coloring spill everywhere, but really everything went pretty well. Taylor, as usual, was very creative with her egg designs. Luke was just excited that he actually got to dye his own eggs.
In the end they had a great time! Easter day is sure to be fun.... I will post pics of that later....

The First Snow of 2009

Today we had a slight, and I mean slight, dusting of snow. Thankfully the kids were off from school today because of MLK day. It took us forever getting bundled up and snow boots found from last year but Taylor and Luke were so excited to get out there and play. It was very much worth the effort!!! Luke is finally old enough to play and make snowballs with Taylor. It is so cute seeing them play together! This was also Bugsy's first snowfall. He ran around and chased Taylor and Luke. Everyone had a blast, however we were only out there for a little over an hour and by that time all the snow had melted. Well, it was fun while it lasted!!!!

Christmas at the Breeden House!!!!

Here are some pictures from Christmas 2008!!! Wow, what a blessing that we are able to celebrate this holiday together. Thomas and I are so tremendously blessed to have two beautiful, happy and healthy children. Too often you take moments for granted and then as I am sitting here pulling pictures to put onto the blog to share with you, I just truly feel thankful that I have my family (all of you) to share these kinds of moments with!!!

Taylor and Luke had such an exciting time this year!! Including looking for Jolly (their Christmas elf) every morning, writing letters to Santa (yes, Tay's letter had 107 presents listed on it!!), all the way to making milk and cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer on Chirstmas Eve night. The excitement continued throughtout Christmas day which was full of presents, food, games, more presents, more food, more games, even more presents.... you see where I am going with this!!! I was able to take some great pics thanks to a brand new camera... thank you mom and dad!! Although it is so hard to be in the moment and still get the pictures taken, but I tried!!!
